State Street Australia is seeking a Vice President to lead FX Front Office Trading Services (FOTS) across APAC, partnering with Sales, Trading, Risk and Operations to deliver scalable, client‑focused support for FX and Financing Solutions. This regional role reports to the Global Head of FOTS and drives global‑first processes across North America, EMEA and APAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience within financial services, capital markets, foreign exchange, secured financing, trading support, middle office, or front-office operations, including leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated expertise in FX post-trade lifecycle management, exception management, operational risk oversight, and client service within sales and trading business lines.
• Proven track record leading globally distributed teams and operating models across multiple regions, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of FX products and services, market infrastructure, and regulatory environments; ability to balance growth, service, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional FX Front Office Trading Services (FX FOTS) teams across APAC, providing support for FX Products and Services in a scalable, controlled, and client-focused operating model.
• Support the strategic build-out of the APAC Financing Solutions FOTS team and operating model by partnering with global FOTS leadership and stakeholders across Agency Lending, Prime Brokerage, and Secured Financing.
• Serve as a Regional Lead while contributing to the global FOTS strategy, ensuring processes, training, client support models, and operating procedures are developed with a global-first approach.
• Partner with FX Sales & Trading and eFX teams, leading front-office support for post-trade lifecycle activities, exception management, workflow execution, and operational risk oversight across FX products.
• Drive timely resolution of trade, booking, account, balance, and workflow exceptions while managing client, market, and product-specific support activities in partnership with Operations, Technology, Risk, and Client Service teams.
• Review and enhance support processes, controls, escalation frameworks, and service standards to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management.
• Lead operational readiness for new products, systems, and workflow enhancements, including testing, implementation support, procedure development, and adoption across regional and global organization.
• Drive continuous improvement, control enhancement, and issue remediation initiatives to strengthen resiliency, reduce operational risk, and improve client and business outcomes.
• Lead and develop a high-performing regional team through talent development, succession planning, cross-training, and a culture of accountability, client focus, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
