Job summary

Corning Inc. in Melbourne seeks a Customer Care professional to serve as the primary interface for assigned customer accounts, handling orders, quotations and delivery coordination.

You will collaborate with marketing, engineering, and finance to ensure accurate, timely processing and customer satisfaction. The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, logistics, or customer care with SAP, Salesforce/Service Cloud, and Excel proficiency. Strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing/logistics or customer care desirable.
• Proficient with SAP and CRM tools (Salesforce/Service Cloud).
• Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers across all areas regarding orders for goods, materials and services.
• Enter sales orders from customer purchase orders and prepare quotations.
• Monitor deliveries, credits, and proactive order management from PO to delivery.
• Create and maintain customer dossiers and reports; manage customer data.
• Coordinate new customers, ship-to, and bill-to locations; maintain price lists.
