Job summary

Corning is seeking a Customer Operations Specialist for APAC to liaise with customers on orders for goods, materials and services. The role requires coordinating order processing, quotations, deliveries, and communications across customers, plants, and sales teams in APAC.

Key duties include SAP-based order processing, export documentation, pricing maintenance, and proactive order management from PO placement to delivery.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written/telephone communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of manufacturing/transport logistics processes.
• Experience with SAP systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with Service Cloud/Salesforce.
• Passion for customer care.

Responsibilities

• Process Sales Order Entry from customer PO's.
• Prepare internal/external quotations.
• Handle customer complaints.
• Prepare export documentation when required.
• Monitor deliveries and credits.
• Proactively manage orders from PO to delivery.
• Maintain customer reports and dossiers.
• Communicate with customers, plants, and sales teams.
• Create SAP material numbers when needed.
• Update customer pricing and lead times.
