Job summary

TAG is a high-touch travel and event management company seeking an experienced Credit Controller to own a client portfolio across APAC. You will work with Finance, Account Management and Operations to resolve issues, reduce overdue debt and convert payment promises into cash.

As TAG transforms its credit control systems, you will test new technology, support automation, and help shape the future operating model. You’ll be hands-on from day one with a pathway to lead the APAC team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in credit control or accounts receivable with direct collections responsibility.
• Proven ability to reduce overdue debt and resolve challenging accounts.
• Hands-on, takes ownership and follows through.

Responsibilities

• Own your collections: manage portfolio, prioritise overdue accounts, secure payments.
• Get accounts moving: investigate discrepancies, reconcile balances, resolve issues blocking payment.
• Build relationships with clients and partner with internal teams to achieve results.
• Stay ahead of risk: monitor aged debt, terms, and credit limits; escalate with recommendations.
• Prepare statements and debtor reporting; allocate payments and maintain records.
• Support system testing, data validation, automation and process improvements.
• Document procedures and embed consistent ways of working.
