Job summary

Temenos is seeking a highly driven Senior Sales Manager to accelerate growth across Australia. This individual contributor role focuses on business development, market creation, and opportunity generation.

You will build executive relationships, generate qualified pipeline, and create demand for Temenos' banking technology portfolio. You will work with Sales Executives, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Partners, and Product teams to convert market interest into qualified opportunities and future revenue

Qualifications

• Proven success in enterprise software or technology sales within banking, financial services, fintech, or SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory growth strategy focused on Australian banks, lenders, mutuals, digital banks, and financial services organisations.
• Generate qualified pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, industry engagement, executive outreach, referrals, and partner collaboration.
• Develop trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior business leaders across target accounts.
• Identify banking transformation initiatives, strategic priorities, and technology investment plans within prospective customers.
• Create and nurture opportunities across Temenos' core banking, digital banking, payments, lending, SaaS, and cloud offerings.
• Partner closely with Account Executives and Solution Consultants to progress opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Engage strategic consulting and technology partners to develop joint go-to-market opportunities.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity management within Salesforce.
• Represent Temenos at industry events, conferences, banking forums, and customer networking activities.
• Deliver market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to regional leadership.
• Consistently exceed pipeline generation and business development objectives.
