Job summary

Graymont is seeking an Accounting Manager APAC to lead financial accounting across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and the Philippines. Reporting to the Financial Controller APAC, you will manage the regional accounting team and ensure accurate reporting, governance and strong controls.

The role covers month-, quarter-, and year-end close, external audits, tax compliance, intercompany accounting, and continuous improvement of ERP systems and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, with team leadership.
• Experience in multinational or multi-entity environment.
• Experience with ERP, reconciliation and financial reporting systems; strong Excel skills.
• Process improvement and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting with journals and reconciliations.
• Oversee statutory financial reporting and provide technical accounting guidance.
• Coordinate external audits and regional tax compliance; oversee intercompany accounting.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance and audit readiness across APAC.
• Lead and develop the APAC Accounting team; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive process improvements and automation across ERP and reporting tools.
