Job summary

Pine Services Group is seeking a Regional Accounting Manager to steward ANZ finances across Australia and New Zealand. This remote role reports to the Group Controller (US) and involves multi-entity consolidation, statutory compliance, and cross-border collaboration with OpCo leaders.

You’ll own the monthly close, manage audits with external firms, coordinate GST/BAS, and support new OpCo onboarding while aligning chart of accounts and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CA designation strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience across multiple entities.
• Big 4/public accounting experience valued; audit background preferred.
• Strong grounding in Australian statutory reporting (AASB), GST/BAS, and payroll tax.
• US GAAP knowledge (ASC 810, ASC 606, ASC 830) or experience in US GAAP environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close calendar for ANZ OpCos and consolidate reporting.
• Coordinate audit activities with US and Australian auditors and ensure timely PBCs.
• Oversee GST/BAS lodgements, income tax returns, and payroll tax obligations.
• Guide OpCo finance leads on accounting policies and reporting requirements.
• Support onboarding of new OpCos and ERP/chart of accounts alignment.
