Tradewind Australia is seeking an experienced AOD Program Facilitator to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team delivering Alcohol and Other Drug support within a correctional environment in Deer Park.

You will work directly with clients, facilitating groups and delivering practical harm reduction and relapse prevention interventions, supporting release preparation and continuity of care in custody and after release.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working in AOD, mental health, community services or justice settings.
• Knowledge of contemporary harm minimisation and recovery approaches.
• Experience facilitating groups or psychoeducational programs.
• Trauma-informed and person-centred practice.

Aufgaben

• Conduct AOD assessments and screenings with individuals in custody.
• Facilitate group programs focused on harm reduction, relapse prevention and recovery.
• Deliver release preparation and harm reduction education, including Naloxone education.
• Develop individual treatment and support plans.
• Support clients to identify coping strategies and reduce relapse risk.
• Collaborate with health, justice and reintegration services to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate case notes, treatment summaries and program documentation.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
