Job summary

Tradewind Australia is seeking an experienced leader to manage a well-established residential AOD therapeutic community in regional Victoria. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive high-quality, trauma-informed care and oversee safe, person-centred recovery pathways for clients.

The role reports to the Head of Residential Services and requires strong operational leadership, workforce planning, budgeting and strategic development to sustain outcomes and occupancy across the service.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within residential AOD, mental health or community services.
• Strong trauma-informed practice knowledge and therapeutic care models.
• Experience guiding multidisciplinary teams in complex service settings.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a large residential rehabilitation service.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to multidisciplinary staff.
• Oversee recruitment, workforce planning, rostering and performance development.
• Drive trauma-informed, client-centred practice across the service.
• Maintain occupancy, service quality and contractual outcomes.
• Lead continuous improvement and quality assurance activities.
• Build relationships with health, justice, housing and community stakeholders.
• Support staff with complex clinical presentations and operational decisions.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, accreditation and workplace safety requirements.
• Contribute to strategic planning and service development.
