Job summary

Kingston Human Capital is supporting a Queensland State Government department by recruiting an experienced Human Resource Officer for the Gold Coast region. The role delivers HR services to program managers and staff, coordinating inductions, payroll liaison, and policy-based advice.

You will engage with leaders, apply HR policies, and support a range of administrative tasks using HRIS, with a focus on improving regional people processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, employment legislation and industrial frameworks.
• Strong administrative skills, including preparing HR documentation, correspondence, forms and reports.
• Experience coordinating employee onboarding, inductions, transfers and offboarding/exit processes.
• Ability to research and analyse HR matters and provide appropriate recommendations in line with policy and legislation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective relationships across different levels of an organisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve effective business outcomes.
• Collate, monitor and report on the performance and status of program/project and administrative support activities.

About the Opportunity

Your new role

In this role, you will coordinate support to program and project managers, and regional staff by contributing to the delivery of Human Resource services across the region.

About You

• $60.05 - $65.81 per Hour + 12% Superannuation
• 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
