Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Senior Value & Access Manager to shape access strategy across Australia and New Zealand for a growing portfolio. You will sit at the nexus of science, policy, health economics and commercial strategy, guiding payer insights and evidence planning within a diverse, high-impact team.

You will lead HTA submissions, collaborate with regional teams, and influence pricing and reimbursement decisions to enable patient access while supporting financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Biomedical, Science, Public Health, Health Economics, or Business Administration.
• Extensive experience in market access, health economics, or related roles.
• Experience in Value and Access strategy development, and HTA submissions with clear value propositions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently, including management of external vendors.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking with cross-functional teamwork.
• Solid understanding of ANZ healthcare system and reimbursement processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor to technical/non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead PBAC, MSAC and PHARMAC submissions with high-quality, evidence-based content.
• Serve as market access lead on cross-functional teams, informing strategy and planning.
• Lead reimbursement feasibility assessments for pipeline assets to guide portfolio prioritisation.
• Monitor policy landscape in Australia and New Zealand and support stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with regional/global teams to align access and pricing strategy.
• Provide input to financial planning cycles on reimbursement and pricing assumptions.
• Mentor and coach junior Value & Access colleagues.
• Represent AbbVie with external health bodies and experts as needed.
