Job summary

Biogen, Inc. seeks a Senior Market Access Manager to lead reimbursement, pricing, and market access strategies for Australia and New Zealand.

You will drive PBAC, MSAC and PHARMAC submissions, collaborate across global and local teams, and shape pricing and access policies to support patient access and business growth. The role emphasizes strategic advice on pipeline opportunities, lifecycle market access, and cross-functional leadership without direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred in science/analytic field (epidemiology, Public Health, Health Economics).
• 5+ years biotech/pharmaceutical pricing and/or reimbursement experience.
• Understanding of Evidence-Based Medicine/HTA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage reimbursement submissions to PBAC, MSAC and PHARMAC.
• Develop and implement reimbursement strategies and pricing policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Medical, External Affairs, and Head of Market Access.
• Monitor policy developments (PHARMAC NZ etc) and adapt plans.
• Contribute to pipeline and access planning.
