Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Australia is seeking a Health Economics & Reimbursement Analyst to support reimbursement strategies and market access across Abbott Medical Australia’s portfolio. You will gather data, conduct HTA and budget analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Australian requirements.

The role involves MSAC and Prescribed List submissions, stakeholder engagement, and working with the APAC COE to drive evidence generation and dossier development.

Qualifications

• Experience in health economics, reimbursement, market access, or related healthcare fields.
• Ability to interpret clinical, economic, and health outcomes evidence for reimbursement strategies.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of reimbursement strategies and market access plans.
• Execute reimbursement activities and schedule milestones (MSAC, Prescribed List, funding applications).
• Gather local data, evidence, and supporting documentation for submissions.
• Conduct local HTA, budget impact, and cost analyses to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with APAC HE&R Centre of Excellence on dossier development and analyses.
• Provide country-specific inputs and review materials for alignment with Australian requirements.
• Engage with reimbursement authorities, payers, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
