The Reporting Business Analyst role ensures high quality analytics and dashboards by capturing requirements, coordinating testing and UAT, and aligning client implementations with Protecht.ERM and Analytics team standards.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and analysing requirements for BI and data visualization.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Hands-on use of JIRA and Confluence for requirements, testing and delivery tracking.
• Strong SQL knowledge and relational databases.
• Excellent written and verbal English; attention to detail.
• Experience in risk management or risk domains.
• Consulting experience with client engagement.
• SaaS experience.
• Protecht.ERM or similar GRC platform experience.
• Exposure to AI and automation tools for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document dashboard, reporting and analytics requirements in a consistent, standardised format.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for Analytics consultants and developers.
• Work closely with Protecht Advisors on Protecht.ERM implementation and advisory teams.
• Act as a key liaison between clients, Analytics consultants and Advisors to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Define test scenarios, test cases and acceptance criteria, and perform functional testing and data validation of reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect triage and resolution.
• Maintain requirements artefacts and supporting documentation in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
