Job summary

Join IAG as an Analyst, Delivery Governance to drive governance excellence across our enterprise portfolio. You’ll develop governance frameworks, reports and dashboards that empower Project Managers, Business Analysts and leaders to make informed decisions and deliver outcomes.

This permanent, hybrid role offers flexible work options near major centres in Australia and New Zealand. You’ll improve transparency, data quality and delivery at scale while collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of PMO and portfolio governance, delivery controls and reporting.
• Experience building capacity planning, demand management and forecasting across portfolios.
• Ability to translate portfolio data into actionable insights with dashboards.
• Experience partnering with PMOs and portfolio leaders to adopt governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve delivery standards, governance artefacts and templates.
• Create and maintain governance tools, plans, RAID logs and status reporting.
• Establish capacity planning and forecasting frameworks to support decisions.
• Build portfolio dashboards and reporting showing delivery performance, risks and financials.
• Prepare governance reporting packs highlighting key issues and escalation points.
• Partner with PMOs, BAs and portfolio leaders to embed governance practices.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and automate reporting.
• Maintain central repository of delivery artefacts and best practices.

You’ll develop and enhance governance frameworks, reporting, portfolio dashboards and delivery standards that enable Project Managers, Business Analysts and leaders to make informed decisions and deliver successful outcomes. By providing visibility across portfolio performance, capacity, risks, dependencies and investment outcomes, you’ll help strengthen governance maturity, improve transparency and support high-quality delivery at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and continuously improve delivery standards, frameworks, templates and governance artefacts.
• Create and maintain practical project delivery tools, including plans, RAID logs, governance packs and status reporting.
• Establish capacity planning and resource forecasting frameworks to support portfolio decision-making.
• Build portfolio dashboards and reporting that provide visibility of delivery performance, risks, dependencies and financials.
• Prepare and quality-assure governance reporting packs, highlighting key issues, decisions and escalation points.
• Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts and portfolio leaders to embed consistent governance practices.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality and automate reporting.
• Maintain a central repository of delivery artefacts, guidance and best practices to support adoption and continuous improvement.

This is a permanent role and offer a flexible hybrid work model based near any of our major centres across Australia and New Zealand.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong understanding of PMO, project, programme and portfolio governance, delivery controls and reporting.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable delivery frameworks, templates, standards and governance artefacts.
• Experience in capacity planning, demand management and resource forecasting across portfolios and delivery teams.
• Strong dashboarding, reporting and data visualisation skills that turn portfolio data into actionable insights.
• Excellent analytical capability with the ability to identify trends, risks, gaps and data quality issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience supporting governance adoption across diverse teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on standardisation, simplification, automation and operational efficiency.
• Experience within PMO, Portfolio Office or delivery governance environments, with knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies and relevant industry qualifications desirable.
