Job summary

Qualifications

This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney). What You'll

Do

• Provide Tier 1 support for a business critical pricing platform, ensuring high availability, operational stability and timely resolution of technical issues
• Monitor and maintain Linux servers, application infrastructure and supporting services to keep systems performing reliably and efficiently.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, backup and recovery activities, and ongoing optimisation of platform performance
• Develop and maintain Python and Bash scripts that automate routine tasks and improve operational effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot issues across networking, databases, applications and infrastructure, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions
• Support DevOps practices through CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, version control and collaboration with development teams

What You'll Bring

• Experience supporting applications, infrastructure or production systems within a technology focused environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a practical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Knowledge of Linux administration, server management and monitoring tools across complex environments.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, SQL and database performance optimisation practices
• Exposure to scripting and automation using Python, Bash or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent support outcomes
