Job summary

Retail Safari, part of Strikeforce, is seeking an American Express Sales Representative to engage with small to medium businesses and promote AmEx merchant services within the Sydney region. You will drive new business using self-sourced appointments and referrals while enjoying generous travel and training support.

The role offers a base salary with uncapped commission, ongoing development, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• B2B sales experience preferred.
• Confident in handling objections and closing deals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with business customers.
• Motivated to achieve targets individually and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell American Express merchant services to small/medium businesses within the territory.
• Generate new business via self-generated appointments and referrals.
• Travel regionally; all accommodation, flights and meals covered by the client.
• Represent a global blue‑chip client with professionalism and integrity.

About the role:

Reporting to State Team Leader, as an American Express Sales Representative, you will engage with small to medium sizes businesses to promote and sell American Express merchant services within your allocated territory. You will do this using a variety of lead sources such as, self-generated appointments and referrals. Win new business and expand the American Express merchant services network! About you:

Must have a current valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle (candidates without a car and licence will not be considered)

Sales experience (B2B, direct sales) highly regarded

Confident in handling objection skills efficiently and effectively

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Ability to confidently engage and build strong relationships with business customers.

Motivated to achieve targets and goals both individually and within a team environment.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
