Job summary

GKR Transport is seeking an experienced Allocator for our Villawood depot in NSW to work with the Operations Team and drivers, overseeing day-to-day driver tasks and ensuring on-time delivery.

You'll be on the floor, engaging with truck drivers and support staff, coordinating multiple consignments and vehicles, applying transport knowledge to audit, problem-solve and allocate administration efficiently.

Qualifications

• Ability to build and nurture strong relationships.
• Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude with a focus on safety.
• Legal & WHS knowledge regarding CoR, driving hours and fatigue management.
• Extensive knowledge of the Melbourne metro area.
• Experience in fast-paced role allocating a large fleet of different trucks.
• Strong verbal communication, exceptional planning and problem-solving skills.
• Resilience, passion, and ability to work under pressure and prioritise.

We are currently seeking an experienced Allocator to join our business at our Villawood depot based in NSW to work closely with our Operations Team and Drivers.

Location: Villawood, NSW
Shift Timing: Monday to Friday 6am - 3pm

About the role:

Utilising your leadership skills to supervise and manage our day-to-day driver operations

Not your typical office-based role – You will be out on the floor and in office talking with our truck drivers and operations support team to ensure our customers consignments are fulfilled and delivered on time.

Working in a busy environment whilst coordinating multiple drivers, consignments and vehicles.

Using your transport and logistics knowledge to audit and problem solve.

Allocating Administration.

Key Requirements:
