Job summary

Workfast is seeking an All-Round Operator for civil works in Lara, VIC. You will operate 30–40 tonne excavators, water carts and sweepers, and assist with drainage and bulk handling tasks as part of a busy team.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in civil operations, White Card, and tickets for excavator, water cart and sweeper, plus a Victorian HR licence. This full-time role offers 8-hour days, overtime opportunities, and ongoing training.

Workfast is looking for an experienced All-Round Operator to join our client's team in Lara, VIC.

• Monday to Friday work
• 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
• $42-$45 per hour + superannuation
• Ongoing work with full-time hours

The successful candidate will be an experienced all-round civil operator with experience operating excavators, sweepers and water carts, as well as assisting with general civil works and labouring duties.

What you will be doing:

• Operating 30-40 tonne excavators
• Operating water carts
• Operating sweepers
• Rock breaking and bulk handling
• General civil and drainage works
• Assisting with general labouring duties as required
• Working across various site environments
• Working as part of a team to complete daily tasks
• Performing repetitive and physically demanding duties
• Completing ad hoc duties as directed by the Site Supervisor

What you need:

• Full working rights in Australia
• White Card
• Relevant Excavator ticket
• Water Cart experience and ticket
• Sweeper experience and ticket
• Current Victorian HR Driver's Licence
• Minimum 2 years' experience in civil operations
• Experience operating multiple types of civil machinery
• Excellent health and safety behaviours
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual duties
• Professional work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Requirements:

• Willing to undergo and pass a National Police Check
• Willing to undergo and pass a Pre-Employment Medical
• Willing to undergo and pass a Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Able to provide a clear driving record
