Job summary

Cater Care is hiring a Duty Manager for Sydney Domestic Airport (Mad Mex) on a permanent full-time basis, 38 hours per week. We are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused leader with hospitality, retail or kitchen experience who can lead and support the team through each shift.

You will coordinate daily restaurant operations, uphold high standards of food safety and presentation, train staff, and balance customer service, kitchen and retail priorities. Availability from 5.00am starts is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership with hospitality/retail experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience juggling customer service, kitchen and retail priorities.
• RSA and Food Safety Supervisor qualifications.
• Availability from 5:00am starts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team throughout each shift.
• Coordinate smooth and efficient daily restaurant operations.
• Deliver consistently high standards of customer service.
• Support food preparation, kitchen operations and bulk cooking.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation.
• Support team training and development.
• Manage competing priorities across customer service, kitchen and retail operations.
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive team environment.
