Job summary

CodeRabbit is hiring a Field Engineer to act as a technical advisor across pre-sales and customer success. You will partner with Sales, Product and Engineering to demonstrate value, translate objectives into technical designs, and drive PoVs that showcase AI-powered development tools.

Strong communication and ownership are essential in this fast-paced startup-like environment. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps tools is highly valued, with opportunities for mentorship

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, 2+ years in a startup-like environment.
• Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders from technical and business teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer needs.
• Solid experience with software development tools and platforms.
• Comfortable working with the command line interface.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ownership mindset with eagerness to mentor peers and contribute to trainings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and design solutions.
• Translate business objectives into technical requirements and designs.
• Lead demos and PoVs to showcase CodeRabbit value.
• Assist in security questionnaire responses.
• Provide cross-functional feedback to product and engineering to improve the product.
• Stay informed on trends in AI-powered development tools and platforms.
• Contribute to internal tools, playbooks and best practices.
• Support smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales onboarding.
