Job summary

Findex is seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team on a 10-month parental leave cover contract. You will own the coordination of our event program, from large-scale client events to intimate client experiences, collaborating with our Marketing Campaigns stream to bring our brand to life.

You will manage end-to-end event planning, on-site execution across New Zealand and Australia, and online webinars while applying AI tools to streamline workflows and maximise impact

Qualifications

• Solid experience as an event coordinator.
• Marketing experience across communications, digital and social is desirable.
• Experience with event platforms and sponsorship activations is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end event planning, materials, timelines, venue and supplier sourcing.
• Manage on-site events across New Zealand and, when required, Australia; travel to regional/metropolitan locations.
• Run online client/internal webinars and write engaging event invitations for digital and social channels.
• Manage event budgets within the overall events budget and seek cost-saving opportunities.
• Apply risk management to minimise risks and ensure service standards.
• Track and report event metrics to inform follow-up and future strategy.
• Coordinate local advertising requests with media suppliers to deliver on-brand placements.
• Support sponsorship activations with on-the-ground and promotional elements.
