The Drive Group seeks an AI Governance Manager to shape governance, risk, and controls as the organisation scales GenAI, LLMs and agentic AI in Sydney. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders across AI, data, security, privacy, legal and procurement to implement practical frameworks while enabling rapid experimentation.

Location is Sydney with 2–3 days per week on-site. Salary ranges AUD 160k–190k plus super, reflecting senior leadership responsibility and risk stewardship.

• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical guidance for executives.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing senior leaders.

Mansioni

• Own and evolve AI governance roadmap, standards and control framework.
• Develop guardrails for GenAI, LLMs, agentic AI and new use cases.
• Review AI initiatives across experiments, POCs and production with proportional governance.
• Oversee AI asset register, risk assessments, controls and assurance activities.
• Collaborate with AI, Data, Technology, Security, Risk, Privacy, Legal and Procurement teams.
• Provide practical advice to teams building or buying AI solutions.
• Support vendor assessments, third-party risk and due diligence.
• Translate AI risks into clear recommendations for boards and risk forums.
• Monitor emerging AI risks and regulatory developments for practical impact.
