Job summary

Qantas Airways' Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide seeks a Software Technical Lead – Salesforce to lead a small engineering squad and own the technical direction of a live product used by contact centre consultants. The role sits in a cross-functional squad with a Product Manager, a designer and a business analyst, and is based at our Adelaide hub.

This is an AI-first, hands-on leadership role: about half your time is coding and the rest is guiding, reviewing and coaching.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on Salesforce engineering experience in live operation.
• 3+ years leading an engineering team with code reviews and mentorship.
• Expert in Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flow-based automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of two to three developers and a tester, providing people management and technical guidance.
• Partner with the Product Manager to prioritise work and shape the roadmap.
• Contribute to an AI-first engineering practice and uphold production quality in production.
