Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist who leads Marketo automation with an AI-first mindset. You will orchestrate the marketing engine, reduce manual work, and drive AI-enabled workflows across Marketo and Salesforce to improve efficiency and scale.

You will manage platform operations, troubleshoot funnel issues, and align marketing processes with sales objectives, while building sustainable, well-documented systems for a remote-first team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Marketing Automation Platforms (Marketo preferred) in a fast-paced B2B environment.
• You use AI tools to automate MarOps problems and build agentic workflows.
• You understand data flow across the MarTech stack and how to scale solutions.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce integration with MAPs (custom objects, field mapping, lifecycle stages).
• High autonomy with focus on delivering value and preventing scope creep.

Responsibilities

• Platform Management & Support: Manage day-to-day Marketo operations, ensure uptime and scalable processes.
• Lead Investigations & Troubleshooting: Diagnose funnel leakage and sync issues between Marketo and Salesforce.
• Operational & Campaign Optimisation: Drive continuous Marketo improvements and AI-driven automation.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Understand marketing, sales, and business processes and translate into data constraints.
• System Overhaul & Simplification: Collaborate on high-level projects to remove technical debt and simplify the Marketo instance.
• List Operations Management: Oversee List Operations (2 Direct Reports), ensure data hygiene and segmentation.
• Ruthless Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for all systems and workflows.
