Job summary

Helia is Australia’s first Lenders Mortgage Insurance provider, embarking on an AI enablement leadership role in Sydney. The AI Enablement Leader will drive adoption, establish governance, and build capabilities across the business under the Director of AI & Data.

The role is a maximum-term contract for 12 months, located in North Sydney, and requires guiding teams on responsible AI use with measurable value delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience across AI, data, digital or related disciplines.
• Experience driving technology adoption or enablement at scale.
• Strong understanding of modern AI tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI enablement initiatives and translate strategy into practical plans and support.
• Drive adoption of AI capabilities across the organisation and deliver measurable value.
• Establish and operate citizen development frameworks, guardrails and usage guidelines.
• Build organisational AI capability through training, coaching and playbooks.
• Act as a digital coach to business teams and senior leaders for practical AI adoption.
• Help teams identify valuable AI use cases and provide guidance on feasibility and tooling.
• Own the business-facing operation and adoption of enterprise AI tools including ChatGPT.
• Track AI adoption, usage and value realisation to improve enablement.
• Serve as a link between business, platform and governance teams on AI capabilities.
• Lead and develop the AI Enablement function with a culture of experimentation and responsible AI use.
