Job summary

Medibank is transforming how work gets done by embedding AI into core workflows through its Enterprise AI Hub. We seek an AI Capability Lead to help our people learn, adopt and apply AI in meaningful, human-centred ways across the organisation.

You’ll design learning pathways, build an AI practitioner community and partner with leaders to embed capability into workforce development and organisational design at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with learning design, capability development, community building, organisational development or digital adoption.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting organisation design and operating model evolution.
• Building communities of practice, professional networks or large-scale capability programs.
• Developing capability frameworks, self-assessments and learning pathways.
• Influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders across business and technology.
• AI, emerging technology or digital transformation initiatives (advantageous).
• Most importantly, you’re passionate about helping people adapt, learn and succeed as technology transforms the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve Medibank's AI capability framework and workforce readiness approach.
• Design role-based learning pathways that help employees and leaders build practical AI skills.
• Establish and grow an enterprise-wide AI practitioner community.
• Partner with workforce, learning, change and business leaders to embed AI capability into broader organisational development initiatives.
• Help shape organisational structures, operating models and governance approaches that support AI adoption at scale.
• Use workforce insights and capability data to identify future skill requirements and capability gaps.
• Translate emerging AI trends into practical, human-centred learning experiences and development programs.
