Job summary

Turium is seeking a research-oriented Software Engineer to develop algorithms and backend services in Python and C++ for AI-assisted document-processing and enterprise financial-planning applications.

You will translate complex mathematical and business requirements into reliable software, own problems from prototyping to production deployment, and contribute to data pipelines and redaction workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced commercial software development experience in Python and C++.
• Experience applying mathematical methods to engineering problems.
• Background in document processing, computer vision or related computational methods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct original applied research and validate improved algorithms for production use.
• Develop AI-assisted document-processing systems with detection, localisation and redaction workflows.
• Implement financial calculations and data pipelines for budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation.
• Deliver production software: design, test, optimise and document algorithmic components and APIs.
