Job summary

NTP Talent in Australia seeks a seasoned software engineer to own core C#/.NET backend and desktop components, optimise SQL data models, and drive a rapid-releases culture. You will rebuild the Document AI system and push performance improvements across multiple applications.

Join a lean, high-velocity team working directly with the CTO and Founder to ship patented automation and AI capabilities, delivering 2–3 production releases daily.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of current hands-on software development experience with .NET, C#, and SQL.
• Deep SQL proficiency with complex queries and large-scale data architectures.
• Backend APIs, data access layers, and business logic; desktop development exposure (WPF/WinForms/MAUI) desirable.
• Experience in Agile/CI/CD environments with rapid releases.
• Curiosity for software architecture, system efficiency, and AI-driven automation.

Responsibilities

• Core C# & .NET engineering: design and maintain backend logic, APIs, and desktop features.
• Advanced SQL & data modelling: write complex queries and design schemas across multiple sub-apps.
• Document AI system rebuild: own rebuilding and optimisation from day one.
• High-velocity deployment: participate in CI/CD delivering frequent production releases.
• R&D & feature feasibility: collaborate with CTO to prototype and build new capabilities.
• System refactoring & performance: address bottlenecks for sub-second response times.
• Quality & standards: engage in peer reviews and maintain clean-code practices.
