Job summary
Cipher Recruitment is assisting a growing Australian organisation in Sydney CBD to hire an AI & Automation Engineer. The role is permanent full-time with a salary range of $140K–$180K plus Super, and a hybrid work setup with 5 days in office during probation and 3 days in office / 2 days from home thereafter.
You will work hands-on across Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform (Power Automate & Power Apps) and AI agents, turning complex tech into business outcomes while collaborating with
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and the ability to explain functionality to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience building AI agents, automation and intelligent workflows.
- Strong Power Platform experience, especially Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into plain English for business audiences.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and ability to translate technology into business language.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on delivery, identifying opportunities and turning complex technology into practical business outcomes.
- Lead in Copilot Studio initiatives and build scalable AI solutions.
- Develop AI/automation workflows and integrate with business processes across the organisation.
- Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations.
