Job summary

4Dtalent, in collaboration with an established Australian construction business, seeks a hands-on AI & Automation Specialist to turn ideas into practical, production-ready solutions across the organisation. You’ll work across functions within the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, Fabric, Dataverse, M365) to assess opportunities and develop prototypes.

This greenfield role will make you the internal SME for AI & Automation, shaping adoption while staying hands-on and building solutions

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience across the broader Microsoft ecosystem including Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse and Microsoft 365.
• Practical exposure to enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio or comparable platforms.
• Experience building Power BI dashboards, data models and reporting solutions using Power Query and DAX.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or comparable cloud data platforms, including data ingestion, transformation and pipelines.
• A pragmatic understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, privacy and responsible AI.

Responsibilities

• Turn ideas into production-ready AI & automation solutions across the business.
• Assess opportunities, develop prototypes, and take solutions into production.
• Work predominantly within the Microsoft ecosystem building across Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Fabric, Dataverse and M365.
• Explore practical AI use cases through Copilot and Copilot Studio.

About the opportunity

We’re seeking a hands-on AI & Automation Specialist to turn ideas into practical, production-ready solutions across the business. This newly created role will work across different functions to identify where AI, automation and data can make a genuine difference - assessing opportunities, developing prototypes and taking the right solutions into production. Working predominantly within the Microsoft ecosystem, you’ll build across Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Fabric, Dataverse and M365, while exploring practical AI use cases through Copilot and Copilot Studio.

This is a genuine greenfield opportunity to become the internal SME across AI & Automation, helping shape how the business adopts these technologies while remaining hands-on and actually building the solutions.
