Job summary

UpGuard is seeking an AI & Automation Analyst to join the A2 team. You will map how teams work, rethink processes for AI, and translate findings into clear requirements for engineers who handle complex builds.

You’ll reshape the AI harness, define skills and connections, and drive rapid, tangible improvements across the org. You’ll lead quick-impact automations, collaborate across teams, and continuously refine how AI changes the way we work.

Qualifications

• AI fluency in daily tools beyond basic chat
• Excellent verbal and written communication to interview leads and write specs
• Critical thinking to break complex problems into steps
• Ability to steer discovery sessions and extract actionable requirements
• Self-motivated with a drive to learn and adapt
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams

Responsibilities

• Run process discovery with the lead analyst and map as-is vs to-be workflows
• Build the A2 harness and provide a single source of truth for AI work
• Redesign how work is done with AI integrated from the start
• Build Claude Skills, connector setups, and n8n workflows
• Estimate business impact and prioritize automations for wider rollout
• Regularly evolve the harness and team processes as AI tools update
• In initial months, interview teams, launch harness, map end-to-end processes, ship automations
