Job summary

UpGuard is seeking an AI & Automation Analyst to join the A2 team and shape how AI changes the way work gets done across the business.

You'll map current processes, design the AI harness, and deliver quick, concrete automations while collaborating with engineers and multiple teams. The role is fully remote with global tools and strong growth opportunities at UpGuard.

Expect to lead discovery sessions, write clear specifications, and measure time savings from new AI-powered workflows.

Qualifications

• AI fluency; you use AI tools daily beyond basic chat.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; interview a lead and write a clear spec.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving to break down messy business problems.
• Ability to steer discovery sessions to capture real needs, not side details.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new tools and technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Run process discovery with the lead analyst, mapping as-is and to-be processes.
• Build the team’s operating brain and maintain the A2 harness as a single source of truth.
• Redesign how work gets done by embedding AI, selecting Skills, connectors and automations.
• Execute and specify production-grade tasks for engineers when needed.
• Estimate business impact and prioritise workflows for rollout across the org.
• Keep the harness and processes updated as AI tools evolve.
• In early months: interview teams, launch harness, map a process end-to-end, deliver 2–3 automations with measured impact.
