Job summary

UpGuard is hiring a Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. You’ll work across the stack—React/TypeScript on the front end, Go services processing data at scale, and secure, reliable infrastructure.

You’ll pair with a senior engineer and grow into broader responsibilities while contributing to cybersecurity-focused products. The role is fully remote within Australia, with two off-sites annually and a co-working allowance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript and React.
• Back end with Go. Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with AI coding tools and code review.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing features across React front end and Go services.
• Own well-scoped work end to end with senior engineer review.
• Help keep the platform fast and reliable as we scale.
• Contribute to cybersecurity domain with pragmatic trade-offs.
