Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management seeks a Business Development Manager for the eShepherd product in Australia. This hunter role focuses on identifying opportunities, opening doors, building a pipeline and closing sales.

You will work with sales, customer success, marketing, product and regional teams to target new customers, build relationships and demonstrate the value of eShepherd technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, new business sales, territory sales or key account management.
• Strong ability to identify opportunities, build pipeline and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to use consultative selling to tailor solutions for farming operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth by identifying, targeting and converting high-value opportunities.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from first contact to close.
• Develop trusted relationships with farmers, producers, partners and distributors.
• Understand customer needs and position the value of eShepherd's technology.
• Lead or support proposals, tenders and commercial negotiations.
• Utilize CRM to forecast, report, and manage pipeline visibility.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure onboarding and retention.
