Job summary

Gallagher Group Limited seeks a Business Development Manager to drive sales of the eShepherd product range across Australia. This hunter role focuses on identifying opportunities, opening doors, building a strong pipeline and converting interest into revenue.

You will collaborate with sales, customer success, marketing, product and regional teams to target new customers, build relationships and close sales. Experience in agriculture or AgTech is highly valued.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development and sales across territories.
Track record of prospecting, building pipeline and closing opportunities.
Experience in agriculture, AgTech, livestock or related industry.
Strong consultative selling, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Experience managing proposals, tenders, commercial agreements and customer conversations.
Strong CRM discipline and sales forecasting/reporting.

Responsibilities

Drive new business growth by identifying, targeting and converting high-value opportunities.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from first contact to close.
Develop trusted relationships with farmers, producers, partners and distributors.
Position the value of eShepherd to customers and tailor solutions to operations.
Lead or support tenders, proposals and distribution agreements.
Use CRM and reporting tools to manage activity and pipeline visibility.
Share market insights to support messaging, product improvements and regional growth.
