Job summary

Honeycombes Sales and Service Pty Ltd in Cairns is seeking a Parts Interpreter to interpret customers' parts requirements for agricultural machinery and equipment at the counter, by email and over the phone, delivering friendly, efficient service.

You will manage parts sales, stock levels, and freight administration, with opportunities to become John Deere certified; prior agricultural parts experience and forklift licence are advantageous, with staff discounts and a stable, family-owned

Qualifications

• Previous parts experience in the agricultural industry.
• Understanding of Agriculture is highly regarded.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn in-house computer programs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours if required.
• Forklift licence is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and process customer parts requirements for agricultural machinery and equipment, delivering accurate results.
• Manage all aspects of parts sales, including sourcing, ordering and invoicing.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and provide professional, timely customer service.
• Develop and sustain positive customer and freight provider relationships.
• Record and follow up on customer enquiries and leads.
