Job summary

Davidson, in partnership with Barwon Water, seeks an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to drive a business-wide Agile uplift. This role blends coaching with hands-on delivery, embedding Agile practices across the organisation while remaining delivery-focused.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape scalable delivery frameworks, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic technology transformations in Victoria's Barwon region.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Agile transformations or capability uplift programs.
• Strong track record as Agile Delivery Lead, Coach, or Delivery Manager.
• Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean and scaled delivery.
• Advanced Jira experience and delivery reporting ability.
• Experience with Power BI reporting and data visualisation.
• Exposure to portfolio management or enterprise delivery frameworks.
• Certification in SAFe, ICP, or Scrum Master is advantageous.

Davidson has partnered with Barwon Water to appoint an Agile Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of strategic technology and transformation initiatives across the organisation.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to drive a business-wide Agile capability uplift program. This is not a traditional Scrum Master role. We are looking for someone who can operate as an Agile coach and delivery lead, embedding Agile ways of working across the organisation while remaining hands‑on in delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Agile capability uplift initiative across multiple business and technology teams.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve Agile ways of working aligned to organisational objectives.
• Coach delivery teams, Product Owners, managers, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and delivery governance where required.
• Drive Agile adoption, maturity assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to establish scalable delivery frameworks and operating models.
• Design, build, and optimise Jira workflows, dashboards, reporting structures, and metrics.
• Consolidate and integrate reporting across Jira, Power BI, and existing presentation/reporting processes.
• Develop meaningful delivery insights and portfolio reporting to support leadership decision‑making.
• Support teams in planning, prioritisation, dependency management, and delivery execution.
• Champion a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About You

You are a pragmatic Agile practitioner who can balance coaching, change leadership, and hands‑on delivery execution. You have successfully helped organisations embed Agile practices beyond individual teams and understand how to drive sustainable adoption.

Relevant skills & experience

• Demonstrated experience leading Agile transformations, capability uplift programs, or organisational Agile adoption initiatives.
• Strong experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Coach, Delivery Manager, or similar role.
• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and scaled delivery approaches.
• Advanced Jira experience
• Experience building delivery reporting and executive dashboards.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across business and technology functions.
• Proven ability to coach teams while remaining hands‑on in delivery activities.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and change management skills.
• Experience delivering Agile transformations in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with Power BI reporting and data visualisation.
• Exposure to portfolio management, PMO functions, or enterprise delivery frameworks.
• Relevant Agile certifications (SAFe, Certified Scrum Professional, ICAgile, Scrum Master, etc.).
