Job summary

Verse is seeking an experienced Program Delivery Lead in Australia to drive the implementation and embedding of a Technology Operating Model and New Ways of Working. The role leads the transition from design to practical, sustainable adoption of an agile, platform-based operating model across the technology group.

The successful candidate will bring structure, pace and integration to governance, delivery practices, prioritisation, performance reporting, capability uplift and change adoption,

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and rolling out Agile Operating Models in complex technology environments.
• Track record moving organisations from project-based delivery to product, platform or SAFe aligned delivery models.
• Experience establishing agile governance, prioritisation models and operating rhythms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end delivery of the Operating Model Program.
• Finalise the remaining operating model and organisational design work.
• Bring structure, pace and integration to governance, delivery practices, prioritisation, capability uplift and change adoption.
• Build and drive a change strategy and communications plan to support adoption.
• Coach the extended leadership team to lead embedding within their own teams.
• Manage an integrated roadmap across governance, tooling, capability and change.
• Clarify decision rights, governance pathways and delivery rhythms.
• Track program risks, dependencies, milestones and benefits realisation.
• Facilitate senior leader workshops to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
• Partner with platform, architecture, PMO, governance, risk and delivery teams.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Program Delivery Lead to drive the implementation and embedding of the Technology Operating Model and New Ways of Working.

The role will lead the transition from organisational design change to practical, sustainable adoption of an agile, platform-based technology operating model.

The successful candidate will bring structure, pace and integration to a multi-workstream transformation program, ensuring governance, decision rights, delivery practices, prioritisation, performance reporting, capability uplift and change adoption are designed, rolled out and embedded across the technology group.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Proven experience designing and rolling out Agile Operating Models in complex technology environments
• A track record moving organisations from project-based delivery to product, platform or SAFe aligned delivery models
• Experience establishing agile governance, prioritisation models and operating rhythms
• Confident working directly with executives and senior leaders through major change
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Structured and pragmatic, able to create momentum in ambiguous environments without adding bureaucracy
• Experience in utilities, public sector or highly regulated environments is highly regarded
• Familiarity with SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, Jira and Confluence is a plus
