Job summary

Offshore Staff Assist is seeking compassionate Aged & Disabled Carers to join our team in Australia. You will provide personalized in-home and residential care, supporting elderly and disabled clients with dignity and respect while addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years in aged care or disability support, Certificate III/IV in relevant fields, a valid driver's licence, police check, and solid references.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in aged care or disability support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion, empathy, and a positive attitude toward caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility).
• Administer medication per schedules and document accurately.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household tasks.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, outings, and social events.
• Monitor health status and report changes or concerns.
• Respect privacy, autonomy, and cultural preferences.
• Collaborate with care team and participate in ongoing training.
