Job summary

Offshore Staff Assist seeks compassionate Aged & Disabled Carers to join our client’s team in Australia. You will provide personalised care to elderly and disabled clients in homes or facilities, supporting daily living and wellbeing with dignity.

Applicants should have 5 years in aged care or disability support, hold Certificate III or IV, a valid driver's licence, and be prepared for police checks and references. Competitive pay, flexible hours, and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in aged care or disability support.
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Care, or Community Services.
• Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation.
• Clear National Police Check and satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light household chores.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, outings, and social events.
• Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns.
• Respect clients' privacy, autonomy, and cultural preferences.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the care team.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
