Offshore Staff Assist seeks compassionate Aged & Disabled Carers to join our esteemed client in Australia. You will provide personalized in-home and facility-based care, helping with daily activities and ensuring dignity and respect.

Applicants should have at least 5 years in aged care or disability support, hold Certificate III or IV in related fields, have a valid license, a National Police Check, and references. Flexible rosters and ongoing training are provided to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in aged care or disability support
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Care, or Community Services
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Clear National Police Check and references from previous employers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion, empathy, and a positive attitude towards caregiving

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document accurately
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light household chores
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, outings, and social events
• Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns
• Respect clients' privacy, autonomy, and cultural preferences
• Collaborate with other care team members
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
