Kirinari Community Services is growing its Support4Me team and inviting applications for Aged and Home Care Workers in the Albury-Wodonga region. Casual and limited Part Time opportunities are available to experienced and entry-level applicants who want to make a difference in our community.

Our roles focus on in-home support, including domestic help, shopping assistance, respite care, meal prep, social engagement and personal care, with paid travel between clients where possible.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect with clients and build meaningful relationships.
• Willingness to perform domestic tasks ( cleaning, laundering ).
• Availability for shifts across Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm; some weekend/ public holidays.

About the Position

Our Support 4 Me services deliver quality in-home care supporting our customers to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.

A typical day assisting our customers to live their best lives may include:

• Domestic assistance
• Assisted shopping/client appointments
• Respite care
• Meal preparation
• Social support and community engagement
• Assistance with personal care

Shifts will be shorter in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. (kms travelled between customers also claimable)

About You

• Available for shifts across Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm (Some weekend and public holidays as required)
• Qualification in First Aid and CPR is highly regarded or willing to obtain
• Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work Mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning
• Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
• Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
• Current Driver's License
• Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
