Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in Albury-Wodonga is seeking Support Workers for in-home aged and home care. Casual and part-time opportunities available, with shifts across 7am–7pm on weekdays and some weekends.

Roles include domestic tasks, shopping, meal prep, respite care and social support to help clients live well at home. Right to work in Australia required; training and progression opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Available for shifts across Monday to Friday 7am–7pm (some weekends/public holidays).
• Qualification in First Aid and CPR is highly regarded or willing to obtain.
• Own a valid Driver's Licence and full comprehensive car insurance.
• Ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check before starting.
• Right to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance and light household chores (mopping, vacuuming, cleaning).
• Assisted shopping, client appointments and meal preparation.
• Respite care and social support to promote independence and wellbeing.

About the Position

Our Support 4 Me services deliver quality in-home care supporting our customers to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.

A typical day assisting our customers to live their best lives may include:

• Domestic assistance
• Assisted shopping/client appointments
• Respite care
• Meal preparation
• Social support and community engagement
• Assistance with personal care

Shifts will be shorter in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. (kms travelled between customers also claimable)

About You

• Available for shifts across Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm (Some weekend and public holidays as required)
• Qualification in First Aid and CPR is highly regarded or willing to obtain
• Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work Mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning
• Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
• Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
• Current Driver's License
• Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
