Job summary

Kirinari Community Services has fantastic opportunities for casual and limited part-time Aged and Home Care Workers to join our expanding Support4Me team. Our in‑home care services help clients maintain wellbeing and independence, with duties including domestic assistance, shopping, meal preparation, respite care, social support and personal care.

Shifts are across Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm, with some weekend and public holiday work.

Qualifications

• Qualification in First Aid and CPR is highly regarded or willing to obtain
• Current Driver's License is required
• Willingness to perform domestic tasks (cleaning, etc.)
• Ability to connect and build relationships with clients

About the Position

Our Support 4 Me services deliver quality in-home care supporting our customers to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.

A typical day assisting our customers to live their best lives may include:

• Domestic assistance
• Assisted shopping/client appointments
• Respite care
• Meal preparation
• Social support and community engagement
• Assistance with personal care

Shifts will be shorter in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. (kms travelled between customers also claimable)

About You

• Available for shifts across Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm (Some weekend and public holidays as required)
• Qualification in First Aid and CPR is highly regarded or willing to obtain
• Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work Mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning
• Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
• Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
• Current Driver's License
• Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
