Australian Red Cross is seeking a Support Officer for the Aged Care Visiting Team. The role delivers the ACVVS program nationally, training and supporting volunteers while coordinating with aged care providers and community partners to promote and expand the service.

Key responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, client referrals, and ensuring program guidelines are followed across the network. A current driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced online environment across multiple software platforms.
• Ability to maintain detailed and confidential records.
• A client-centred approach to your work and interactions.
• Ability to support and coach volunteers.
• Experience working in a virtual team and supporting colleagues remotely.
• Creative thinking capabilities to resolve volunteer and client concerns.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing programs to consumers from diverse backgrounds and cultures, including First Nations, CALD and LGBTIQ+.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with aged care providers and Lifestyle Co-ordinators.
