Job summary

Zenith Executive Search seeks a motivated Training Officer to support training across aged care, disability, and community services. You will design, coordinate, and evaluate programs to promote best practice and regulatory compliance.

You will work with operational leaders to identify learning needs, deliver engaging sessions, and build a culture of continuous improvement and quality care. This permanent, full-time role offers growth in a dedicated learning function.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
• Experience in aged care, home care, disability support, nursing, or community services.
• Knowledge of current aged care legislation, quality standards, and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and deliver induction, mandatory, and ongoing training programs.
• Facilitate engaging learning sessions in face-to-face and virtual environments.
• Maintain training records and monitor compliance with mandatory education requirements.
• Assess workforce capability and develop targeted learning plans to address skill gaps.
• Support onboarding and orientation of new employees.
• Conduct competency assessments, practical observations, and skills evaluations.
• Assist employees to maintain required certifications and competencies.
• Ensure training aligns with legislative, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Partner with managers to support workforce capability and organisational objectives.
• Promote evidence-based practice, person-centred care, and a culture of quality and safety.
