Job summary

Southern Support Family in Victoria, Australia, is hiring an Aged Care Support Worker to assist elderly clients with daily activities, personal care, and companionship in their own homes.

You will report changes in a client’s condition to the team, maintain dignity and independence, and participate in ongoing training to enhance care quality.

A PCA qualification, First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license are preferred; previous aged care experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care and companionship to elderly clients.
• Ability to report changes in client condition promptly.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to clients in daily activities.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Document and report changes in residents' health to supervisors.
