Home Helpers is seeking Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home support for ageing and disability clients in Victoria, Australia. You will assist with personal care and daily activities, while promoting dignity, choice and independence in every interaction.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate IV in Ageing Support or Disability Support, current police and working with children checks, a valid driver's licence, and a dependable, respectful approach with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Ageing Support and/or Disability Support or equivalent.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
• A warm, respectful and dependable approach to care.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Supporting clients to maintain their dignity, choice and independence.
• Providing friendly companionship and practical support.
• Following individual support plans and Home Helpers' procedures.
