MiCare in Australia is seeking a Personal Care Assistant/Home Support Worker to support clients in their own homes under individual care plans. You will assist with personal care, domestic tasks, shopping, transport and community access, while documenting care notes and reporting changes.

The role requires a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (PCA), current First Aid/CPR, police check, driver's license and a willingness to travel.

Qualificações

• Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care (PCA)
• Willingness to undertake a police check
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
• Valid driver’s licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Smartphone and access to a device
• Knowledge of aging and community elder care
• Ability to travel and be flexible to client needs
• Attention to detail and high standards of service and documentation
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow direction
• Flexible, caring, patient attitude

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with general household tasks in their homes (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, linen, bathroom cleaning)
• Assist with personal care needs (showering, toileting) for PCA role
• Accompanied shopping and errands
• Provide transport and community access as required
• Engage with clients and family members, report changes promptly
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and escalate significant events
